Champagne

Champagne is not only one of the most popular white wine in the world, but it also is a perfect combination with festive events and celebrations. Champagne white wine brands are traditionally named after the houses that produce them. However the name 'Champagne' comes from France. Champagne is a dry wine that generally should not be stored longer than two years.

Pinot Grigio

Also considered one of the most popular white wines, Pinot Grigio well known brands include Cavit, Santa Margherita and Barefoot. A light and summary white wine, Pinot Grigio is made from the grape Pinot Gris and present tangy and citrus flavor.

Chardonnay

Named after the grape from which this white wine is produced, Chardonnay wines have a certain feel of class. Chardonnay grapes are grown in various places around the world including France, Australia, New Zealand and North America. Chardonnay wines are usually oak flavored and that make them to pair beautifully with heavy meals.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is another white wine named after the grape variety. First produced in France, later expanded to California, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and Chile. Sauvignon Blanc wines present a grassy taste and can sometimes be very acidic if the grapes are not ripened properly.

Semillon

A white wine produced mostly in Australia and France. Its grapes are golden colored , easy to grow, and can produce either sweet white wine and dry white wine.

Riesling

Riesling is a type of grape that was produced primarily in the Rhine region of Germany. This white colored grape varietal is used in the production of Riesling white wines. This grape usually presents aromatic smell and can be fermented to produce different types of wines such as sparkling, dry or sweet white wines.
